1. Blogging Industry & Business Annual Women Report (2015)

My sad story ( almost) Creating an online course
He was in November 2015.
I decided finally “ will do .
in actually, that’s not entirely true. the inspiration came from my friend Kurt Frankenberg Shoestring101.com the owner.
As usual, I complained to him not to enough money.
Kurt was very polite. He listened patiently. Then he finally said … “ Ana, your head is full of knowledge that I and many other people pay me lots of money to. Why do not you stop complaining and to create a course? ”
In fact, Kurt is waaaay too polite to say that for me. I’m sure it was much more diplomatic when he said, but the key was the same.
He told me to do what I knew I had to do for a while …
I need to grow . * I * was the only thing standing between a happy bank account and me.
The depth of Kurt’s intuition went far beyond a simple “just create a course! Suggestion.
Oh no … he also told me how I should do it.
And I’ve never something like that before heard.
Kurt suggested I should FIRST make money my course, then go ahead and create .
out I heard him right. Here’s what he wanted me to do:
- announce that I would create a traffic generation course;
- PREsell during “my readers
- then once I see enough interest (and have enough dough to prove it), I lock myself in a cave and creates the actual course.
Not only that, but Kurt told me He did it in the past . He walked the walk when creating a product paid for another of his business. And it worked!
I was inspired.
I was thinking of going about it this way force me to create an online course, which was exactly the kind of “incitement” I needed.
Knock, knock. Who’s there? Reality check.
The truth is I run generation Café traffic on a very part time basis.
My main job is – the jobs are, I must say –
- … wife;
- … mother;
- … live in maid;
- … the chief resident;
- gardener …
- … general contractor;
- … some other “trinkets”.
In addition, when I find the time to work on my
business hobby, I too am playing a game whack-a-mole, as …
- writing blog posts that do not make money
- research / writing my weekly marketing Skinnies
- catch up with blog comments, emails , various social media accounts …
… well, I think I’m just a panic attack thinking about it …
and the worst thing is … I did not catch. Nothing like.
… Now add the creation of an online course this turmoil! …
The chances are this is your reality as well, dear player.

Even if I worked hard on creating the first module of the new course, Catapult content (all about repurposing your existing content – something I am very passionate), I quickly realized that I had to everything else on hold while working on that.
This did not sit well.
My Type A personality will not let me “let go of other things” easily.
The anxiety was rising.
And the fact that I made such a big deal about this being created was just … oh weighs so heavily on me.
Good thing I did not accept money for my future students wishing … or maybe I should have! Nah … I’m glad I did not.
Do not get me wrong, I have just tabled Trafficology Blueprint altogether.
I kept working on it. Unfortunately, I continued to polish what had been created instead of focusing on the next modules.
Good thing I have to type A personality as a scapegoat! ‘Twasn’t me … he is a personality to blame my type! …
It became so bad that I stopped to talk to you, my dear readers, about Trafficology Blueprint altogether.I stopped responding to emails on the course.
I had nothing to say but to say that I did not know if my online course may never see the light of day.
I was embarrassed . Still am. And I’m still not check my emails for Trafficology Blueprint account.
And that’s the story of my first attempt to create an online course.
